Calculate MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, or SHA-512 hashes for any input text. SHA-256 and SHA-512 are the current standards for verifying file integrity, signing data, and storing passwords. MD5 and SHA-1 produce faster but cryptographically broken digests — suitable only for checksums and non-security use cases.
